Meet the Founder
SimCaddy was founded by Tom Murray, an AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist™ (CTS®), golfer and longtime golf simulator owner. Tom works directly with every client, providing practical guidance through planning, product selection, technical design and system integration.
His experience designing, supplying and installing residential and commercial golf simulators across Canada brings an audiovisual professional’s perspective to every project - ensuring the technology, software and supporting components work together as one complete system.

Built from Experience
SimCaddy was built on years of firsthand experience designing, using and continually improving golf simulator technology. From the shift from HD to 4K projection and from floor based to ceiling mounted launch monitors, that experience has provided practical insight into what makes a simulator enjoyable, reliable and worth using every day.
What began as a personal project has grown into designing, supplying and installing custom golf simulators for homeowners, businesses and commercial venues across Canada. Every project has deepened SimCaddy’s understanding of how room dimensions, equipment, software, lighting, acoustics and installation details work together to shape the finished experience.
This allows SimCaddy to recommend more than individual products. Each solution is designed as a complete system, with recommendations based on how it will perform in the space and in everyday use.
Golf, Technology and a Better Way to Play
SimCaddy grew from a challenge shared by golfers across Canada: finding enough time and good weather to play and practise consistently. A home simulator changed that, making golf available throughout the year and creating a convenient place to practise, compete, unwind and enjoy the game with family and friends.
Years of building, using and upgrading a home simulator gave SimCaddy firsthand insight into how equipment choices and proper integration shape the experience. The progression from HD to 4K projection and from floor based to ceiling mounted launch monitor technology demonstrated how every component contributes to accuracy, reliability and enjoyment.
That experience also showed how regular access to accurate feedback can support meaningful improvement, more consistent practice and greater confidence on the course.
